In the1990s, the spring thunder of reform and opening-up resounded across the country, and China's watchmaking industry also rose rapidly amid this wave. At that time, Mr. Luo Liqing, who was still in his hometown of Minqing, Fujian, developed a strong interest in the watch industry. He devoted great efforts to learning the theoretical knowledge of watches and put it into practice. In 1992, Mr. Luo left his hometown and went to Xining, Qinghai Province alone to start his career as a watch repairman. Years of experience in watch repair shaped his understanding of the identity of a "watch repair craftsman" and the "craftsmanship spirit". Later, when Mr. Luo entered the watch manufacturing field, based on his years of knowledge in watch repair, he believed that "quality" should be the most basic guarantee for a watch; to this day, ROSDN still puts "quality" first.
During the era when Mr. Luo Liqing started his business, the Swiss renowned watch "Rolex" was undoubtedly the leader in China's watch market in terms of quality and brand reputation. When Mr. Luo Liqing decided to establish a domestic watch brand in 2005, the Swiss renowned watch "Rolex" was naturally the brand model in his heart. With the simple dream of creating a "Rolex of China" and respect for timeless classic brands, Mr. Luo Liqing named the first brand he founded "劳士顿 (ROSDN)", which implies "learning from the mentor", paying tribute to predecessors, and striving to move towards the industry benchmark.
Since its establishment, the "ROSDN" brand has adhered to quality control. In the impetuous market, this original intention of adhering to product quality, however, made the brand face numerous difficulties. But Mr. Luo Liqing's career as a "watch repair craftsman" made him deeply aware that quality assurance is the foundation for a brand's long-term development. Just as a tree needs to take deeper roots to grow taller.
To ensure the quality of ROSDN watches and achieve long-term and stable development of the brand, Mr. Luo Liqing also founded a watch manufacturing enterprise - Hongba Watch Industry Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Huafu Watch Industry). While ensuring the quality of watches, the ROSDN brand team continuously learned business operations and innovated in products, making the products more and more popular in the market. Through three years of efforts, by 2008, ROSDN had blazed a unique path in the fiercely competitive market of China's watch industry; ROSDN watches, with their fashionable and elegant style, solid quality, and much lower repair rate than industry peers, have been recognized and accepted by many distributors and consumers.
"Creating timeless watches and an enduring brand" is Mr. Luo Liqing's brand philosophy, and all ROSDN people have always been unswerving in upholding this philosophy. 【Brand Introduction】

ROSDN, a star watch brand in China, is among the "Top 500 Most Valuable Brands in China" and "Top 10 Watch Brands in China". It is a wholly-owned core brand under Shenzhen AILUO Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., founded and registered in 2005 by Mr. Luo Liqing, the brand founder. As a rising star brand in China's watch industry, ROSDN strives for excellence in every link from watch design to sales.   • Raw material control: Every movement of ROSDN watches adopts high-quality 100% original imported movements from Switzerland and Japan. The movements undergo strict inspection and calibration to ensure more accurate timekeeping.
  • Supplier cooperation: Excellent suppliers are the guarantee of quality. ROSDN has a complete supplier management system; it cooperates with high-quality elite manufacturers to ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Production control and inspection: ROSDN adheres to national standards for product acceptance and laboratory testing requirements, and our inspection tenet is "not allowing any defective product to enter the next process". The assembly workshop of AILUO Intelligent Technology follows Swiss watchmaking standards, and the entire watch production process is carried out in "dust-free workshops". At the same time, the workshop is equipped with complete precision equipment and product testing laboratories. All ROSDN products undergo 100% full inspection: the water resistance test adopts the strict standard of "1 sample selected for every batch, with 3-stage pressure testing", the fog test uses ice water at 0°C, and the water resistance level test meets the requirement of "+2 grade".
  • Quality personnel training: Talents are the primary productive force. The company continuously strengthens the training of managers and professional technicians; it has established a business school and invited industry experts to provide technical guidance for the company on many occasions. 【Brand Logo】

The English name "ROSDN" is composed of the initials of five words:

Reliable, Originality, Service, Distinguished, and Never-seen-before.
These five words embody the pursuit and business philosophy of ROSDN in quality management, inheritance of craftsmanship, service experience, and bold innovation.

 

(1) Former ROSDN Logo(旧劳士顿标志)

ROSDN has always attached great importance to the quality of watches, so two crucial components of a watch - the crown and the gear - are incorporated into the LOGO design.
The crown can inject vitality and soul into a stationary watch, while the operation of the gear endows the watch with a beating pulse and infinite vitality, ensuring its continuous operation. This symbolizes the brand's boundless vitality and also conveys the brand leaders' respect and inheritance of traditional timekeeping instruments. In English, "Crown" originally means "royal crown, coronation", which perfectly aligns with ROSDN's outstanding quality philosophy. The radiant diamond design at the center of the LOGO expresses the hope that ROSDN will become a diamond star in the watch industry, shining brilliantly and attracting attention.

(2) New ROSDN Logo(新劳士顿标志)

After 16 years of forging ahead, ROSDN has begun to show its prowess - like a butterfly breaking out of its cocoon, a fish leaping into an eagle, and spreading its wings to soar high... 2021 is a year of transformation for ROSDN, and changes start now....

The new ROSDN watch logo splits the graphic and the font into two independent symbols. The graphic is an eagle symbol, which is more recognizable and has stronger brand implication; the font is the Chinese and English names of ROSDN, which is more concise and elegant.

The inspiration for the new ROSDN logo comes from the brand's vigorous development over the past decade and its new opportunities and journey; it symbolizes the enterprise's people-oriented transformation and its efforts to bring its culture and creativity to the world.

  1. The ROSDN eagle graphic and the first letter of the English logo cleverly combine the English letter "R" with the pictographic Chinese character "人" (meaning "people"). Using bionic design principles, it outlines an eagle graphic that is about to spread its wings and soar at the rising sun. The characteristics of the eagle are artistically transformed and refined to make it more smooth and dynamic.
